NodeZero - Geographic Service Areas


1. Service Area Zones

Prague is divided into service zones, each with designated node deployments and service configurations.

Zone A - Staré Město (Old Town + Castle)

  • Area: 2 km², 80 nodes
  • Key Locations:
    • Staré Město (Old Town) and Staroměstská
    • Malá Strana (Lesser Town)
    • Prague Castle (Pražský hrad)
    • Charles Bridge (Karlův most)
    • Old Town Square (Staroměstské náměstí)
    • Wenceslas Square (Václavské náměstí)
  • Primary Services:
    • Tourism (hotels, casinos, excursion operators)
    • Retail shops and restaurants
    • Cultural attractions (National Museum, Estates Theatre)
    • Government services
  • Node Type: Core Archival, high-density
  • Service Priority: Highest (tourism-heavy, day-time population density 200k+)

Zone B - Smíchov (Industrial Zone)

  • Area: 3 km², 60 nodes
  • Key Locations:
    • Smíchov district and Petřín Hill
    • Prague Congress Centre
    • Nový Svět shopping district
    • Industrial park areas
  • Primary Services:
    • Logistics hub
    • Manufacturing and workshops
    • Distribution network
    • Event and conference services
  • Node Type: Edge Archival, micro nodes
  • Service Priority: High (logistics-heavy)

Zone C - Karlín & Vinohrady (Commercial District)

  • Area: 3 km², 60 nodes
  • Key Locations:
    • Karlín business district
    • Vinohrady residential-commercial
    • Jiřího z Podingu (tech hub)
    • Žižkov broadcasting tower
  • Primary Services:
    • Business services (tech, finance, creative)
    • Commerce (Monero POS)
    • Professional services
    • Innovation and startup ecosystem
  • Node Type: Edge Archival, gateway nodes
  • Service Priority: High (commercial center)

Zone D - Holešovice & Vinohrady (Dock & Markets)

  • Area: 2 km², 50 nodes
  • Key Locations:
    • Výstaviště (exhibition center)
    • Holešovice markets and warehouses
    • Národní divadlo (National Theatre)
    • River embankments
  • Primary Services:
    • Maritime services (Vltava river transport)
    • Cargo and distribution
    • Cultural and entertainment venues
    • Wholesale trade
  • Node Type: Micro nodes, logistics-focused
  • Service Priority: Medium-high (specialized zone)

Zone E - Žižkov & Vyšehrad (North Residential)

  • Area: 3 km², 50 nodes
  • Key Locations:

    • Vyšehrad historic fortress
    • Schools and universities
    • Healthcare facilities (Motol, Bulovka)
    • Community centers
  • Primary Services:

  • Service Priority: Medium (residential + institutional)

Zone F - Předměstí & Podolí (Outer Areas)

  • Area: 4 km², 70 nodes
  • Key Locations:

    • Letná Park and Stromovka
    • Industrial suburbs
    • Agricultural areas (Prague outskirts)
  • Primary Services:
